I decided to try something really cool this week end. I went to Centennial Park on Saturday night, around 6.00pm to try Light Painting Photography. It was so much fun!
Photographer Peter Solness was orchestrating members of the public to create some night magic photography. The public had been given a light so they could create orbs of light (spherical shape) on the grass. They just had to spin the light around their body to create these beautiful orbs. And as they were quite a lot, it made a beautiful landscape photo full of lighting orbs.
As a photographer I had to have a camera and a tripod. You have to set up your camera for long exposure so the camera takes a photo for around 8 to 20 seconds, the time to get all the spinning. And the camera only gets the light, nothing else, that's why you don't see people in the photo, unless they are lighted.
