A week end away...

It was time for me to spend the week end away from the crowd, work and the City. I decided to rent a huge house at 300m from the Fitzroy Falls with 5 other friends. The goal was to relax, enjoy the house, the fireplace and visit the surroundings. 

I saw my first wombat ever and then we saw 2 more in the woods while we were going to see a famous cave where you can see thousands of glow warms at night. As we were all French this week end, we decided to have the perfect French winter meal known as the "Raclette" with lots of cheese and assorted pork meat, it was delicious!!

We decided to visit Berrimal, 30 minutes drive from Fitzroy Falls. Very nice little city a bit like Kangaroo Valley, with a few shops with local products such as jams, jellies, chutney... It was actually quite busy and we spend some time to get a table in one of the restaurants/cafe.
